Past Results
The inaugural Wine Access International Value Wine Awards was held in 2006. Since then, every spring, Wine Access brings a panel of Canada's top palates to Calgary, Alberta, where they blind judge the best wines available to Canadians for less than $25 retail.
The 2008 Competition
Wine Access magazine hosted the 2008 International Value Wine Awards (IVWA) in Calgary, Alberta. The competition took place between June 19 and 28, 2008, and featured the largest number of entries since the IVWA's conception.
The full results of the 2008 competition were published in the October/November 2008 issue of Wine Access magazine, and a colour pdf of the full results can be downloaded here
In addition, partial competition results were published in the November 2008 issue of up! magazine. up! is WestJet airlines' in-flight magazine and it reaches more than 1.4 million passengers every month. A pdf of the partial results can be downloaded here
