IVWA 2010: White Single Varieties

As in years past, this is one of the most exciting and interesting categories. While names such as moschofilero, grüner veltliner, fiano and assyrtiko might not roll easily off the tongue, the wines made from these grapes certainly roll easily across the taste buds. This category is a great way to expand your repertoire with some interesting wines from the Old World. For something more familiar, pinot blancs showed well, taking three of the top 10 spots.
