Touring the Cowichan Valley vineyards by bicycle
Food and wine is more enjoyable when it is hard won, and few rewards compare to a fine glass of wine paired with epicurean delights after a sunny day of cycling through wine country. Vancouver Island's pastoral Cowichan Valley offers spectacular cycling routes through a region that is dotted with family-run farms, vineyards and wineries.
The following tour companies operate seasonal van-supported bicycle tours. Tours last seven to eight hours, covering 50 to 60 kilometres of moderate to difficult terrain. Costs range from $139 to $153 per person.
