Celebrate the best of Ontario wine and food at the "Oscars of the Ontario wine industry"

Beat the late-winter blues and celebrate Ontario wine and food at the 24th annual Cuvée Weekend.

The 2012 Cuvée Weekend kicks off with the Cuvée Gala on Friday, Mar. 2 at the Fallsview Casino Resort in Niagara Falls, ON. The swanky evening will feature inspired food and wine pairings at live cooking stations from some of Ontario's leading chefs, including:

Chefs Paul Harber and Collin Goodine, Ravine Vineyard
Chef Jason Parsons, Peller Estates
Chef Claudio Mollica, Casa Mia Ristorante
Chef Justin Downes, The Restaurant at Vineland Estates Winery
Chef J. Mark Hand, Hospitality on Hand
Chefs Giovanni Del Priore and Leonardo Priore, Criveller Candies
Chef Professors Sam Seaver, Dan LeBlanc, Philippe Corbiere, Osvaldo Avila, Jim McClean C.C.C., Bruce Worden C.C.C. and the students from Culinary Management and Apprenticeship Programs, Canadian Food and Wine Institute and Benchmark Restaurant at Niagara College
Chef Ray Taylor, Fallsview Casino Resort

The Cuvée Gala will recognize excellence in Ontario wine and feature wines that have won the Cuvée Standard of Excellence award.

Weekend festivities will continue with the Cuvée en Route touring program. On Friday, Saturday and Sunday, follow the Niagara wine route and taste special flights that highlight the best in Ontario wine.

Tickets to the Cuvée Weekend are $200 per person. Tasting passports for Cuvée en Route are $30 per person. Tickets can be purchase at cuvee.ca or by calling 905-684-8688.

Proceeds from the weekend will benefit the Niagara Community Foundation.
