A vodka drink perfect for soaking up the last of summer

Lakeshore Punch

A fresh and breezy blend of Grey Goose La Poire flavoured vodka, elderflower liqueur, pear nectar, lime juice, cucumber and a touch of mint. La Poire vodka is made with a blend of three natural flavourings blended to mimic the taste and freshness of Anjou pear. This crisp and smooth vodka is available in British Columbia, Alberta, Saskatchewan, Manitoba, Ontario and Nova Scotia for between $44-54.

Ingredients

5 Parts Grey Goose La Poire

4 Parts Pear Nectar 

3 Parts Elderflower Liqueur

2 Parts Fresh Lime Juice

2 Parts Mint Water

1 Bar Spoon Cucumber

Method

To make mint water, steep ½ bunch mint in 2 parts hot water for ten minutes, then strain and cool.

Thinly slice cucumber and place in a punch vessel. Add remaining ingredients and stir. Chill for two hours.

Serve over ice and present with cucumber slices.
