Canadian superstar Sarah McLachlan released Laws of Illusion, her first album of new material in seven years, on June 15, 2010. The album draws inspiration from her life experiences — marriage, separation and children — in the period since 2003's Afterglow.
McLachlan has sold over 40 million recordings worldwide since in 1988 and she has won eight Junos and three Grammys. McLachlan founded Lillith Fair in 1997 and raised $7 million for charity over three years.
McLachlan will be performing at the Hollywood Bowl on July 15 and 16. She will also be performing at Mountain Winery on July 17 and Chateau Ste. Michelle Winery on July 20. Her first performance back in Canada is at MusicFest Vancouver on Aug. 5.
I love New Zealand sauvignon blancs. I don't drink much in the winter, but in the summer it is a bottle of Cloudy Bay by the beach.
