The program incorporates fun, educational games and activities to stimulate mentor-participant relationship-building as well as self-reflection and group discussions about healthy living and emotional, social and cultural issues.
Included in the ticket is a glass of wine, one cocktail by Jeremy Parsons, a bottle of our 2011 Fireside White to take home, light fare and $10 OFF any $50 or more purchase from Uniquely Yours Jewellery. Tickets are $40 per person and are available by calling 905-563-0668 or on fieldingwines.com
Mix up one of Parsons cocktails on your own by following the recipe below.
Ingredients:
1 oz. Stolichnaya Vodka
3 oz. Bottle Green Sparkling Elderflower Water
2 oz. Fielding Estates Sparkling Riesling
4 blackberries
Method:
Ensure all of your ingredients are cold and if you are using any other kind of elderflower water, make sure it is sparkling and is not a concentrate as it will make the cocktail far too sweet. It should be refreshing, with a hint of lychee.
Combine vodka and blackberries in a shaker half full of ice. Shake until pulverized and chilled. Strain into a martini glass and add chilled elderflower water and Fielding Sparkling Riesling. When pouring the riesling, pour it across the surface of your strainer or spoon so that the wine stays on top of the cocktail creating a “float” for optimum flavouring.
Pair this cocktail with a lobster mango salad.
