The 67 Sour

Whether you’re spending it kicking back on a patio or celebrating the summer sun with a backyard barbecue, take hold of a tasty guilt-free summer drink this Canada Day.  

To help fill your glass, Molson Canadian 67 has introduced a collection of low calorie summer beer cocktails to enjoy on your long weekend while keeping calories at bay. Check out the full list on their Facebook page or at MolsonCanadian67.ca.

Molson Canadian 67 and Molson Canadian 67 Sublime are light beers with 67 calories per 341-millilitre bottle. Molson Canadian 67 Sublime has the addition of a twist of lemon and lime flavours. Grab a bottle or serve up this tasty low-calorie beer cocktail.

The 67 Sour

Molson 67 with crushed wild blueberries and house-made sour mix, garnished with a basil sprig.

Ingredients

1 Tbsp frozen (thawed) blueberries

½ oz. lemon juice

½ oz. lime juice

1 oz. simple syrup

3 oz. Molson Canadian 67

basil sprig

Method

Fill a highball glass with ice and then add blueberries, lemon juice, lime juice and simple syrup. Top with Molson Canadian 67 and garnish with a basil sprig.

Ingredients

4 Tbsp. (1/4 cup) frozen (thawed) blueberries

2 oz. lemon juice

2 oz. lime juice

4 oz. simple syrup

12 oz. (1 bottle) Molson Canadian 67

Method

To a punch bowl or pitcher, add blueberries, lemon juice, lime juice and simple syrup. Stir well to mix well. Just before serving, add bottle of beer. Pour into cups with ice and garnish each with a basil sprig.

Makes 4 servings. (85 calories/drink)
