Crisp peach, pear and honeyed notes are discernable behind the primary aroma — a floral, perfumed, soapy note that works a lot better than I make it sound. It’s a fairly dry gewürztraminer that’s just about medium-bodied; regardless, the tangerine and spice notes on the palate are well-balanced. There’s a hint of spritz to this Bulgarian white that’s surprising and somewhat enjoyable as well.
