Combining their deep family roots in beekeeping and their love for wine, the Roman family opened Rosewood as the first winery and meadery in Niagara, in 2008. The family’s desire is to craft quality-driven, affordable wines that express the unique characteristics of Niagara. Rosewood wines have performed consistently at awards across the country. Most notably the pinot noirs, of which the 2007 and 2009 vintages won gold medals at the Wine Access Canadian Wine Awards.
