IVWA 2011: Top 25 Killer Values

Refosco, raboso and a couple other indigenous varieties make up this fun and funky red. Cherry, raspberry, smoke, dark roast coffee and a hint of barnyard all come through on the nose. Cherry and blackberry are most prominent on the palate, with white pepper and light tarry notes accentuating modest tannin on the medium finish.
