Mission Hill 2010 Reserve Riesling Icewine
92Points

Deep gold in colour, this icewine is remarkably complex on the nose: honey, hazelnut, brown sugar, tangerine, crème brûlée and bruised pineapple are among the aromas here. It's full-bodied and viscous, with lemony acidity shining brightly enough to offset the rich, creamy texture and suggest a fairly long life in the cellar. Apple candy, honey, burned sugar, ripe stone fruit and very light minerality bring intensity in spades. A formidable effort.
