The 2004 is one of the best vintages I can recall. Stylistically it is very traditional, with a complex nose of apple pie, baked pear, toffee tones, Melba toast and nutty notes. The palate is very even, rich and concentrated, with a delightful, creamy texture and soft apple/pear fruit. Outstanding length and focus from nose to finish.
