Tinhorn Creek 2008 Oldfield Series Pinot Noir
91Points

The first ever Oldfield Series pinot, this is a limited release. It is slightly tarnished red in colour, with a forward nose of anise and dark cherry. There's almost a Dr. Pepper vibe, as well as a pleasing perfumed floral and earthy aspect. This is a well-structured pinot noir. It is mouth-filling, with good acidity and fairly firm tannins. It very well could be my favourite Tinhorn Creek wine ever.
