Las Perdices 2010 Malbec Reserva

89Points

This malbec has a good nose, with savoury and spicy aromas. Look for vanilla, black cherry, barnyard, tobacco, poultry spice and cedar bark notes. The palate is rich, full and fresh. It is warm and suave, with light tannins. There are vanilla, coffee, black cherry jam, orange compote, tobacco and licorice root flavours. It is a bit oaky and hot, but there's good balance of fruit and spice. It could use a year or so to come together.
