Wynn's 2009 Coonawarra Chardonnay
89 Points
This is a nice cool-climate style chardonnay from Coonawarra, with a mineral nose, that's quite Burgundian in style. Spicy French oak is evident on the nose and palate. This has a lot of body, but is not overdone — the balance is still there. Commercially appealing, but with some edge and a long finish. Serve alongside pumpkin gnocchi for a seasonal treat.
