Emiliana 2008 Coyam

89 Points

A consistent performer year after year at the IVWA, the syrah-dominated blend is rife with black fruit, vanilla, a little alcohol heat, dark chocolate, smoky, earthy and resinous characters. In the mouth, it is a perfect combination of big fruit, big tannins and flavours balanced between fruit and earthy/mocha flavours. Drinking well now, but easy to hang onto in the cellar for 1 to 5 years.
