Emiliana 2007 Coyam

90 Points

Though the blend changes from year to year, this 2007 vintage is based around about 38% syrah and aged in about 80% newer French oak and about 20% American. Darkly coloured in the glass, with licorice, menthol, herb, tar, tobacco, cassis, cedar chip and smoke on both the nose and palate. Shows excellent balance throughout, with nice tannin presence. A consistently good wine.
