Painted Rock 2008 Estate Grown Cabernet Sauvignon
90 Points
A stand-out wine in its flight. Notes of tar, spice, currant, leather, tobacco, cedar, smokiness and underbrush on the nose. The palate is massive, with big tannins and tight fruits that are surprisingly well-balanced. Cellar for 3 to 5 years or enjoy now with flavourful beef or game dishes. This wine won a gold medal at the Wine Access 2011 Canadian Wine Awards.
