Malivoire 2007 Gamay

86 Points
A typically deeply coloured, firm and tight example of 2007 Ontario red, this Gamay is not your usual soft and fruity Beaujolais style by any means. With some aeration the nose opens up to show some spicy dark red berry fruit and earthy-black pepper flavours. Acidity is pronounced and saliva inducing. Try again in 2010.
