St. Hallett 2008 Gamekeeper's Shiraz Cabernet

88 Points
"A pleasant surprise on the nose of this Aussie blend - the black cherry, earth, iron, and perfume are almost reminiscent of a shiraz-viognier far pricier than the Gamekeeper's blend. Big, ripe cherry and slightly tart blackberry come through on the palate, with light peppery notes on this extremely juicy, low-tannin red. It's a fun, lively red that would be dynamite with some medium-spicy Mexican or Latin/South American food."
