A nose of black cherry, raspberry, liquorice, humus and cigar leaf, with a bit of alcohol heat. A bit boozy on the palate, the fruits are bright and expressive, with slightly bitter tannins that will complement barbecue ribs, bison burgers and heartier stews. The winery was founded by the screen legend of the same name who played Davy Crockett and Daniel Boone in the mid-50s.
