Bonterra Vineyards 2006 McNab

90 Points

A Bordeaux-style blend that's fully bio-dynamic, this wine has an earthy nose, with shoe, spice, tar, smoke, resin, coffee, chocolate, tobacco and black licorice notes to go with some serious fruit aromas. There are sweet tannins in the mouth, with a true and balanced expression. Drinking well now, it should continue to age gracefully in the cellar through 2016 to 2020.
