Beringer 2009 Napa Valley Merlot
89 Points
This is a pleasant, widely appealing Napa merlot, with very ripe, plummy, blackberry aromas and discreet vanilla tones. The palate offers a rich, warm, mouth-filling impression (with 14.4% alcohol), which heats up further on the finish. Forward and bold overall; serve with braised meat.
