Opus 2008 Napa Valley Opus One
93 Points
The 2008 Opus is still obviously very youthful and oak-driven on the nose. However, the palate is firm, zesty and balanced, with excellent concentration without excessive extraction. The fruit notes are fresh and ripe, the tannins are balanced and structured and the finish is impressively long. An unquestionably good wine here, though the value notion is another question altogether.
