Bonterra 2009 Organic Zinfandel

The nose of this wine is jam packed with red berry, spice and mild earth aromas. The palate is a little deeper and more complex, but that might have to do with the addition of 20% petit syrah in the blend. The fruit notes seem a little light on the palate, but this does allow some other flavours to come through. The tannins are great and the long, spicy finish makes this a pleasure to drink.
