Elephant Island 2010 Pink Elephant
This bottle looks fun and tastes great. Fantastic Granny Smith apple notes typical of traditional method bubbly, with hints of cassis make this an instant fruit version of Kir Royal. The nose shows intense apple, lemon, cherry, cassis and floral notes. The palate is off-dry, with balanced acidity, intense apple, pear, bread dough, orange sherbet and mineral notes and a long finish.
