Burrowing Owl 2010 Pinot Noir
91 Points
There's just the slightest hint of earth to this Okanagan pinot that accentuates the cherry, white pepper, plum and modest toffee aromas. The concentration of fruit is impressive, with deep ripe cherry flavours at the core surrounded by raspberry, red licorice, earth and mocha-like tannins. It is stylish and polished without seeming too worked on — drink now or hold onto a bottle for a few years.
