Quails' Gate 2010 Pinot Noir
88 Points
This pinot noir is bright cherry red in the glass, with a nice balance of fruit and earthy aromas. Cherry, spice, licorice, tar and some decidedly floral notes show on the nose. The palate shows a little tension, with tart fruit and some crisp acidity. A nice mouthfeel and good varietal characters makes this versatile with food. Drink now with duck or salmon.
