Wente Vineyards 2008 Reliz Creek Pinot Noir

Quite dark in the glass for pinot noir, this wine has a nose that brings cedar chop, black fruit, vegetable leaf, tar, raisin, plum and cherry to mind. There are juicy fruit flavours on the palate, with a silky texture and a spicy tannins. This begs to be enjoyed with duck breast or roast chicken.
