Ken Forrester 2009 Reserve Chenin Blanc

91 Points

Here's a beautifully refined, highly mineral example, with palpable chalky texture from chenin blanc master Ken Forrester. There's a tremendous range of flavours, from zesty citrus to ripe orchard fruit, intertwined with apple and apple blossom, delicate wild flower honey and sweet herb notes. This has superb complexity, marrying a brilliant range of flavours in a concentrated expression that doesn't sacrifice elegance or freshness. Decant 30 minutes before serving.
