Kato 2011 Sauvignon Blanc

88 Points

Marlborough is synonymous for great sauvignon blanc because of wines like this. It has the classic intense aromatic nose combining green elements like asparagus and green bean, along with tropical notes of passion fruit and gooseberry. The palate is medium-bodied and dry. Zingy, fresh acidity and lemon and green fruit notes linger on a long finish.
