Speck Brothers 2010 Sibling Rivalry Red

87 Points

The name makes this ideal to accompany family Thanksgiving dinners. The warm vintage has beefed up this blend, giving it an almost Rhône-like plummy, berry fruit, with some tobacco and smoke. It is medium-bodied, fairly fleshy and a touch sweet, with some earthy character. Not much oak or tannins.
