This wine is dark red in the glass, with an attractive savoury nose of red fruit, tobacco and French oak. This 100% Tinta De Toro is quite smooth on the palate — 11 months in French oak followed by a few years of aging will do that — but it has firm tannins and a warm, dry finish. Pair with herbed beef stew.
