Ponte Pietra 2009 Trebbiano Garganega

84 Points

Ponte Pietra literally means stone bridge; fitting, then, that there’s a stoniness to the nose of this Italian white. Chalky, mineral notes mingle with light pear, perfume and firm mango aromas. Light-bodied and crisp, it’s a fairly simple white that delivers just about what you’d expect for the price — light fruit, some minerality, low acidity and a short finish. Drink on its own or with milder shellfish and seafood dishes.

Price List:

  • Manitoba: $14
  • Ontario: $13
