Here's a vibrant and juicy merlot, with very subtle oak treatment that's a step up from the 2007 vintage. It is fresh and pure, with aromas of blackberry, blueberry, chocolate and floral notes. It is medium- to full-bodied and well-balanced, with lively acidity and a touch of firm tannins to give some grip to the finish. It possesses very good length and focus. Drinking at its best now until 2015.
