The magnificent 2009 vintage is captured in this gossamer, yet intense late-harvest riesling. Trademark Selbach-Oster purity is evident in the compelling lime, lily and über-minerally, slatey nose. The Zeltinger Sonnenuhr site adds layers of peach, apricot and honey with a touch of botrytis. Still youthful, it deserves many years of cellaring. Brilliant with seared foie gras or, for dessert, try papaya coconut rice pudding.
